My 2015 CX-9 is very basic. It just took time, a lot of time. Although I've scratched my head about the lead wire to the battery, I STRONGLY recommend taking a bale wire or weed line to fish out the wire, although you might want to then run it from the battery under the front of the car and grab another one piece and start at the back, then connect them together and attach the connector cable and then pull. Took me about 1 hour to make the rear connections and 2 hours to route the connector cable and connect it to an unraised car on the hot August south sidewalk (oops).
