First of all let me say that I love OP/TECH products. Although the description says 'Compact' I bought it to use in conjunction with my Opteka Professional Digital and Film SLR Strap on a fairly light DSLR. Overall I am satisfied but this strap is not perfect. Here's what I think: BENEFITS - The quick release mechanism is simple but reliable, just like other OP/TECH harness systems. - Neoprene is comfortable. - At the moment the strap seems to be durable after a month of brief use. Let's see how he behaves over time. I've seen neoprene fall apart after less than a year of use. CONS - The adjustable ring used to tighten the strap around the wrist is useless. It just doesn't slide up and down as easily. The buckles are not compatible with most other OP/TECH systems. It looks very chunky when used with a compact camera.
