A great option if you can find it at an affordable price.

No, it might not be the best model or the newest, but it's definitely a great buy-and-forget monitor option. I've had it for about 3 or 4 months so here are a few pros and cons. The benefits are basically exactly what the monitor advertises. This is pretty much your average IPS monitor with vivid colors, a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms latency. If you've been rocking 1080 and 60Hz for a while. Treat yourself, you can't go wrong with an upgrade like this and I promise you'll probably get over the shortcomings (if you can find a decent price). However, if you're a gaming enthusiast or someone downgrading, there are a few things you absolutely must consider. Bad site. The backlight glow, yes it's ips, you'll notice it from time to time. All I can say is that if you're using the NVIDIA control panel, increase the brightness setting and decrease the contrast, and then decrease the monitor's actual brightness as needed. You lose some of the vividness of the colors, but I think making the backlight glow is a higher priority. However, I'm the type of guy who typically uses my computer in a dark room, sometimes at night with just the monitor on, and I find the backlight can be controlled in that environment. You may just need to adjust the settings from time to time. The monitor is also quite hefty, if you plan on using a wall mount or height adjustment system that doesn't lock you could expect weight issues. Monitor that maximizes this stand. The stand that comes with the monitor only has one adjustment, but I personally don't care, there are some comments that suggest buying a mount to replace it. I think it's in your best interest to wait and see really bothers you. The HDR function does not work properly. Regardless, just turn it off. You get what you pay for and I think this is a good option for the price I paid which was $270 when I got it.
