Waste of money. This piece of junk doesn't read/display error codes. All it does is short pins A and B of the reader connector on the car. Error codes appear as flashing lights on the dashboard, which must be written down with pen and paper and then 'read'. A paper clip jumping over terminals A and B does the same thing. The only saving grace is that it comes with a booklet (also with easily accessible information that you can get elsewhere for free) that tells you what the error codes mean. I will keep it as I rarely use it. Not suitable for regular use. It costs about $2, not $18.
