I needed a small amp to put together a small stereo with cooler and while it wasn't 100% necessary the idea of a marine block just in case sounded good. In the end I really didn't like the pre-wired connections and preferred the standard connections you would normally find on a conventional amp. I've used it with some Polk Audio (db691) 6x9 Marines I had left over from a previous build. Combined with this little amp you won't knock anyone out, but it's enough to keep a 6-person raft or pair of canoes at an acceptable volume.
