Great little amp suitable for marine electronics

Sounds great and drives 4 of my 5 1/4 tower speakers well enough. A little distorted when everything is on, but it may be my bluetooth controller, I don't know, but it works fine for me.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • So far so good

Works great on my bike

I bought this to replace the booster on my bike. Connected to Polk speakers. Works and sounds great! Enough power to listen to music at 75 mph with loud Vance and Hynes whistles.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Dear Sir/Madam

Amplifier overheats causing speaker distortion and no volume control.

This amp packs a lot of punch for its money. However, it heats up very quickly, causing distortion in the 2-6.5" speakers I plugged into it. This amp also didn't have a volume control. I need to replace it to avoid damaging my speakers.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Nothing here

Functional, but not optimal

I needed a small amp to put together a small stereo with cooler and while it wasn't 100% necessary the idea of a marine block just in case sounded good. In the end I really didn't like the pre-wired connections and preferred the standard connections you would normally find on a conventional amp. I've used it with some Polk Audio (db691) 6x9 Marines I had left over from a previous build. Combined with this little amp you won't knock anyone out, but it's enough to keep a 6-person raft or pair of…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not Everything Fits
