Before I decided to try Revain, I used the only bags I could find in the store that were made by a different manufacturer. Real Dirt Devil bags feel more like "filters" than "hard paper" like the bags I've used. They should provide better airflow as my vacuum has doubled its suction power. It used to barely work, but now it's a dream to use like new. I also bought some real Dirt Devil straps and that made a big difference too. The others were already slipping as the beating brush dug all the way into the carpet. Now I can feel the brush pulling the cleaner forward like it's new and I never hear it slow down.
