I had some issues when I first got the case as it didn't work with any of my three 1TB hard drives (Seagate and Western Digital) so I gave it to start with one star and I wanted to return it so I contacted the company and complained. However, I later discovered that the discs were not inserted correctly. I don't know if the orientation was wrong, but now all three drives are working and I'm transferring data at very high speeds. The bad rating has been removed and replaced with this one. When the disc heats up, I pop open the easy-open lid to release the heat. Sliding the lid open was difficult the first time, but now it opens and closes correctly. I like the sleep feature, which turns off after inactivity and turns on when accessed. I'm using a full-size 3.5" drive, but it still rattles a bit even with the lid closed. This case uses standoffs to hold the drive in place and does not use screws. I will be using my shorter drive in a different case that has screw holes on the bottom to hold the drive. Overall the case looks good and I like the large on/off button,
