I bought this kit because of scratches on my Wolf line. I wasn't sure if it would actually work or make things worse, so I "tested" it against scratches in a stainless steel sink. There are many scratches on my sink and some spots were very bad. The kit improved the look a bit so I decided to work on a series that had a few deep scratches and a few other minor ones. This greatly improved the look of the ruler's top bar. A few deep scratches improved but didn't completely disappear. But I'm pretty strong and I've worked very, very hard at it. It is not easy. The only thing to complain about is that there are only 5 pieces of sandpaper and it is very fine. Within a few sanding passes, the surface of the sandpaper will become completely smooth and you will need a new piece. It would be great to have more and it's not clear if they can be bought.
