The unit was purchased to clean both the inside and more importantly the outside of a glass cab in a dusty manufacturing facility. We used this device "dry" to remove dust buildup on the outside glass of the cab. In addition, when the glass surface is soiled with wet dirt and fingerprints, we spray the outer glass surface from a height of 20 feet with a pump sprayer and then with a squeegee. After the dirt is removed, we apply dry rags to remove the remaining moisture. This keeps the glass surface dry, clean and streak-free. It's a little tedious at first to find a process rhythm that works for your particular cleaning process, but once you get the hang of it, it works great. The adjustable strength of the magnets is a great idea, our tempered safety glass is 1/2" thick and we should significantly reduce the gripping force to make it easier to move.
