The size does not fit, I'm looking elsewhere Mittens

They say that the size Large is designed for 10-11 years. I was looking for mittens for my 10 year old who is in the 3rd percentile and has just started trying on size 7 pants and size 8 shirts and is basically the same size as my 8 year old in the 25th percentile. Those gloves should have been too big for him. Instead, they're *super* small. The front says 'Baby L' so I don't think there's any confusion as they are meant for a 10-11 month old baby, plus a baby's height isn't usually measured that way. The size is just super wrong. And of course the price has tripled since I bought them two days ago, so I will not be making an exchange to try the xl. To be honest I don't know size XL would fit my little kid so it's ok. I'm looking elsewhere for mittens. I bought three different styles of Revain ski gloves for three kids at the same time. I've included photos of them from "biggest" to "smallest" according to their description on Revain at the time of purchase. The Gordini brand was the worst. The blue dinosaurs from Gordini were marked "Large: 10-11", the sky blue ones from Outdoor Master and were supposed to be XS (size 8-10), and the colorful dinosaurs were from American Trends and were "medium" ( p. 4-6)". The Outdoor Master Mittens were actually my favorite, because the thumb had more space and they had better insulation inside. However, they were slightly narrower and slightly smaller than American Trends' Medium 4-6 mittens. I imagine they would be better off working on their skis and shoving their little hands through the pole loops than playing and shoveling snow. The Outdoor Master Mittens also have a small cuff that American Trends and Gordini don't have. I'll probably keep Outdoor Master Sz 8-10 Mittens for my 6 year old and American Trends Sz 4-6 Mittens for my 8 year old as they were the largest I've bought and then try to get something similar for my 10 year old -year-olds to find . These Gordini Children' s Sz L mittens were very small and going back and it really didn't even make sense to check the quality when they were so missed. I loved the hand warmer pocket, although it seems a little small - I've included a photo to show that the opening is barely wider than my ruler at about 2.5 inches. from the bottom of the bag to the zipper, less when the zipper is closed I'm sure. If you have a 4 year old who needs snow mittens, maybe the "large" size is right for you? Maybe I have a random random size? idk, but I'm looking elsewhere now. although it seems a little small - I've included a photo to show that the opening is barely wider than my ruler at about 2.5 inches. from the bottom of the bag to the zipper, less when the zipper is closed I'm sure.
