Very well tailored coat. The craftsmanship is the same as human clothing. My dog loves it when the weather is cold. It has a velcro closure on the front with a waist belt closure on the same side. The other side you have to put on the dog's leg as there is only velcro on one side but it actually makes it easier for the dog to put on. I have a similar coat that has velcro on both sides and is not that easy to put on because you have to find the straps under the dog to pull it up and secure it to the chest. I thought this coat was a bit pricey when I ordered it but after seeing how well made it is I think it's worth the extra cost. It wears well and doesn't shift or slide on the dog's body like some other coats I've bought. It's very attractive. I plan to order another one in pink brown. The only problem may be that there is no hole for the leash. The collar doesn't go very high on the neck when folded, so it probably won't get in the way of the leash attached to the collar. This is not a problem for me as my small dog travels in a stroller.
