Review on 2014-2018 Grand Cherokee Uconnect 7-inch Touch Screen Protector: RUIYA HD Clear Tempered Glass Film for Car Display and Navigation Screen by Jay Liu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything went well but there were two very small pieces of debris on the underside of the tread

I bought a new UAQ system for my Jeep and it arrived at the same time as me, so I had the opportunity to fit this protector on the display before even installing it on the Jeep. I removed the factory screen cover from the device and tilted it to make sure it was clean and free of dirt. I still used the included alcohol wipe and dust stickers to make sure it was clean. I washed my hands, checked the screen again, and then removed the backing from the protective film. Holding it by the included suction cup and all the way around the edge, I lined it up and placed it against the screen. It went well and the bubbles came out easily, but there were two small bubbles at the bottom that looked like something was on the screen and didn't let the protector sit flat. I was able to remove the protective film, clean the screen again and reinstall with the same result. When I held the protector up to the light I could barely see the debris and there was no way to remove it without making things worse. I decided to remove the protection and just install the block without it. I have contacted the company and will increase my stars if they keep their word and send me another one. For those who said they couldn't remove it without breaking it. I had almost no nails and was still able to gently pull on one side and apply even pressure to remove the protection without breaking it. I've done this at least 3 times and the protector still sits safe and sound on my counter. UPDATE: The company is sending me a new protector. Remove the frame, turn on the car and align the protective film with the image on the screen. I did this and when the frame is on I can't see the edges.
