Review on Driven Upholstery Vacuums Nozzle Attachment by Terrance Fisher

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Probably a good tool for pets, limited for other purposes.

It probably deserves more stars as a pet tool, but if you use it as a stair or carpet tool like I did, be aware that it's not quite the thing for that. I can only blame myself as the description says about a pet brush. ADDITIONAL: The Splines/Pet brush described below can be removed allowing the rotating brush to contact the carpet and the unit glides smoothly over carpeted stairs, but can only be used with minimal effort. Pressure as it is very easy to stop the rotation if you press too hard. I would expect any air/turbo brush attachment to have the same problem. Functionality is not as limited as I originally thought. end of application. The suction power of my Dewalt 1 gallon battery powered vacuum spins the brush just fine, but be aware that the spin brush itself never makes contact with the carpet itself, it is recessed too far leading to the question of what the spin brush is should do? Well you don't want him to come into contact with old Shep (the dog) and start pulling all his hair out, that's all I get. There are 2 rows of solid light green plastic slots (for lack of a better word). ) that can be seen in one of the pictures, one on each side of the hole where the suction takes place and the rotating brush, giving the impression that what you see in the picture could be a rotating brush. It's not, but I would expect these slots to work well as a pet brush. Also, where the vacuum hose attaches isn't adjustable, it locks in place so any hard stick you can attach to it will come right out of the back of this unit. If you intend to use this device on stairs, this configuration makes it impossible to move this device back and forth up the stairs unless you use a flexible hose. Additionally, the slots, which work like a pet brush, are angled in one direction and dig into the carpet as you move the device backwards, making it nearly impossible to walk back and forth across any type of carpet. Favorite turbo brush, acknowledging a disturbing lapse in my buying savvy. What looks like a good ladder is really only good for pets (as described).
