The case does not look like a Zippo case. The Zippo case has a small baffle in the lid that flips a small switch on the side of the Zippo that opens a valve and allows gas to ignite. This lighter doesn't have that bezel in the lid so it won't light up unless you manually flip the switch and then go off unless you manually flip it again.
