I've been using this stand for my new work laptop for a few months. While I was initially unsure about needing an adjustable screen height for my laptop, I soon became a huge fan of this stand. My laptop is thin and it got very hot from sitting on my desk. I love that this stand is rubberized and holds the laptop firmly in place. It also provides adequate airflow at the bottom of my laptop, helping to keep the laptop cool and minimizing fan usage. I also adjusted slightly for the extra screen height and feel that this provides a more natural viewing position. There is no build so you can get started with it right away. I use a separate keyboard and I don't think this stand would be suitable for use without a separate keyboard given the angle of the laptop keyboard on the stand. Overall I am very happy with my purchase!
