I've been using this consistently since I received it and while it does work fairly well for a ratcheting belt one of the design flaws is the poor quality of the leather, aesthetically it's holding up at the moment however it definitely stretches more than it should especially considering it's a ratcheting belt. I do wear a firearm on my waistline every time I wear it and so far it's continuing to function but I do find myself tightening it throughout the day even after eating which I believe is due to the thickness and or quality of the actual leather. Also once removed from the pants after wearing it with a pistol on you can clearly see the belt no longer stretches out straight and has a curvature to it which doesn't affect you while wearing it but does raise questions about its potential longevity. All those factors considered for the price it seems to be fairly decent and thus farther here are no markings discolorations or otherwise damage visible to the leather even with daily carry of a holstered firearm. Should things take a change for the worst I'll make sure I update this review. I only gave it four stars because of the thickness/quality of the leather. Perhaps future versions will be made a bit thicker.
