Love my diaper Gin; I hate the damn pocket system. They're expensive even if you buy a fake; they are inconvenient to install; and so far you're stuck with this kind of bag for it. This product allows you to use ANY bin liner with the system - whether you want to buy special 7 ply bin liners (but cheaper than Genie refills) or just use the same white liners you use in the kitchen - just pop the latch , insert bag, snap ring back, done. I haven't noticed any odors emanating from regular garbage bags, but even if there are, as the bag fills up, the huge savings are worth the tiny odor of smell that escaped. Two thumbs up! A great gift for a children's party when you buy the gift recipient's Diaper Genie! Note that they also make adapters for other diaper pails - just search for the company name. :)
