The elongated shape of this brush makes it easier to get into crevices that are too narrow for conventional round brushes. I have old radiators that need cleaning to keep dust out of the air when it gets hot. This brush is useful, if not perfect. I use a baby bottle brush to get the dust out of the inside of the radiator and have the vacuum ready to suck it up. I should note that there is a plastic sleeve fitting inserted into this brush to reduce the mounting diameter. I'm pretty sure it wasn't made for use with regular 1 1/4 inch vacuums, but this plastic adapter works well and appears to be properly glued on to make it permanent. I believe this should be stated in the product description so people know exactly what they are getting. Since there was no mention of this change being related, I have a feeling the producer cheated a bit.
