Works very well. I ordered more than I needed in case I ever need to do another repair. They are not available at the local home center. Our house was built 13 years ago. Constant exposure to the sun and heat seems to have brittled the old fasteners. The effects of the recent hurricane force winds broke several fasteners on two shutters set into the cement joints of the brick. The hardest part of the repair, aside from getting close enough to do the job, was removing what was left of the broken fasteners from the joints. After that it was easy.
