The cloaks are very good. It's not too long and not too short, which allows me to drape it over my shoulders, drape across my chest, and drape over the opposite shoulder in a nice ponytail. Cashmere is soft. It's knitted, but with a thin weave. I'd call it medium weight so it's not hot but it will keep your shoulders warm on chilly mornings. It's perfect for travel as it folds well, doesn't wrinkle and fits in most handbags without taking up too much space. I've been wearing red for over a year now and have very little pilling, almost no pilling at all. It's a bit decadent, but I sleep in it over my pajamas on cool nights. It keeps my neck nice and warm without having to add as much weight from extra blankets. The same applies to hotel rooms that are too cool on the go.
