I was going to hang paper lanterns at a friend's house for a party we were having, but I didn't want to tape the lanterns to the ceiling if the tape would strip the paint from them. These ceiling hooks came in very handy! They're a little more expensive than they are, but the adhesive on the back came off easily and cleanly. I hung about 16 lanterns with 6 ceiling hooks. By keeping the ceiling hooks apart, you can hang a lantern on each hook and then tie fishing line between the hooks to hang a third lantern on that rope. I ended up making a spider web out of fish line and tying one hook to the other so I could hang more lanterns between each hook.
