Review on Empava Electric Stove Induction Cooktop Vertical: Efficient Dual Burners on Smooth Black Ceramic Glass (120V, 12 Inch) by Don Acevedo

I have been cooking on a two burner portable stove for a number of years now. We have just remodeled our kitchen and I bought a 2 burner hob first but luckily you can use it as a portable before installing it. I found it just wasn't powerful enough and if you had one burner too high it lowered the other burner so you could never have both burners at max. These four peaks were the solution. As this is a 240 volt product it can turn on high powered burners. Pros: Smooth surface; There are no cleaning buttons around. Can be installed flush with the mast to become part of the mast. If you put things on it when you don't use it, it will beep when you press the power button. Three steps to activate. First press the power button, then the burner, then the heat level countdown timer to turn off the pot at any time. No more burnt rice. Disadvantages Two burners showed heat in watts. It was easier for me to understand. I still haven't figured out how hot "7" or "5" is. The surface scratches easily. We have a few scratches, probably from cleaning, but not too noticeable. The burners cycle on and off to keep the heat steady - you can hear them circling. This is my first time cooking on induction and I want the heat to be constant or circulate faster so you don't notice it cycling on and off. To turn off the burner, you need to press the button multiple times to decrease the heat level. If there's a moment of disconnection, then I didn't get it. However, if you're only using one burner, the power switch will turn off the entire cooker with the touch of a button. A bit noisy, the fan runs when heating up. A bit noisy, the pots and pans I bought are crispy. But I'm assuming this is a function of the cookware, not the stove. In general I like it.
