Overall these are the perfect chairs for my young family. We have 5 small children and they are not only dirty, but constantly use our dining table (snacking, eating, painting, nibbling again...). The chairs are very durable and easy to clean. I have already removed the traces of food and colored pencils without much effort. They feel like they'll see us through as long as we have kids in the house, which is really all we've been looking for. The only point of criticism: the small rubber feet break again and again. Not a big deal as felt pads work a little better on our floors and felt pads are easier to glue. I only mention this because it cannot be relied upon. They break down after a few weeks of heavy use.
