I have a desktop computer with a 980ti graphics card. It connects to 3 monitors and a 4K TV. This card has 3 DP ports and 1 HDMI. Unfortunately, my HDMI port was being used for something else, so I figured I should buy a DP to HDMI adapter for my last DP port on my GPU. On my first try, I bought an adapter from Pluggable. Unfortunately, this setup didn't work, no matter what configuration I made. The computer wouldn't let me change the refresh rate to 60Hz as it automatically reset it to 30Hz. Thought I'd try this one since it's "compatible" with DP standards. Unfortunately, this one is even worse. First, it can't get 4k 60Hz on my setup. Also, for some reason my GPU wouldn't allow my second monitor to turn on when I plugged in this adapter. Windows kept the second monitor "disabled" even when I switched it to "Extend Display". I'm sure the adapter is of high quality but unfortunately it didn't fit me.
