These shoes are very comfortable and look great. Some of the characteristics I want to clarify: 1. These boots fit true to size. I'm a size 5 and after reading some of the reviews that mentioned running small I took these shoes up a size and unfortunately found that they do get a size bigger with wear. But because I didn't want to bother with sending it back and waiting for the right size (which would take a week or two, and also because I needed warm boots due to the weather), I left the Sperry and ordered a pair of thick sheepskin insoles that fortunately served their purpose. Now they are perfectly worn.2. These are not winter boots! This applies to deep winter climates such as B. below 30 degrees Fahrenheit. They're insulated with microfleece, which keeps them warm, but your feet won't get fully warm when the weather is below 30 degrees. I live in New York where we have cold weather these days and without my comfy fleece liners my feet would be cold. If you want true cold weather boots, choose the Sorel line of winter boots or something similar.3. These boots are a little heavier than I thought they would be, but they don't feel uncomfortable. But definitely not easy!4. Yes they are waterproof and I am assuming they are snow proof but they do not have reliable traction on ice as I have found that they do not have traction on slippery surfaces (like ice or a shiny wet surface) although they do good are grip on dry and uneven surfaces.4. The shoes are very good quality, well made and if like me you keep things well they will last a very long time which I look forward to. All in all a very nice, high quality, waterproof shoe for autumn, cold rain and mild winters, but NOT for very cold weather, which is made warmer by the lambskin insert. I would definitely prefer to buy it half a size or even a size smaller. MATCHING TO TRUE SIZE. I'm a slim 5ft but if I was a flat or wide 5ft a size 6 would be perfect. I believe this size will help those who choose the right size for their feet in the future. Basically satisfied.
