If you don't have experience with gas fittings or plumbing I don't recommend doing it yourself. I was skeptical about this ride due to bad reviews. But as I thought, most of these problems are probably due to an installation error. I will say that the regulator that comes with it is a cheap piece of junk that I haven't even bothered with. Instead I got a good low pressure propane regulator that plugs directly into my tank. (tractor supply etc.) From a 1/4 copper wire regulator to a 1/2 adapter that threads into a 90 "block" fitting. This fitting is for laying so has no threaded connection and looks like pretty flimsy pot metal. .Rather than using Teflon and trying to screw it down (which would break it) I used a red RTV and did it neatly. Swapped the injectors for LPG injectors and it works like a dream!
