Review on Enhanced AAA 12V DC Mini Air Compressor - Tire Inflator Featuring Integrated Pressure Gauge by Grant Galloway

Do not buy this item. I bought it because it had the AAA logo on it, so I felt like I was buying something they approved. Well I bought it and put it in the trunk of my car. My car tells me the tire pressure and I often check it while driving. I noticed a tire getting deeper and was worried that I might have a leak. So as soon as I got home, I took the AAA air compressor out of my trunk and opened the box for the first time yesterday. I connected a hose to the tire and the other end to the cigarette lighter in the car. After a little over 2 minutes it started smoking and I drew and the part that connected to my machine was very warm. I quickly turned it off before it caught fire. It was smoking so much I thought it was going to catch fire. Since I bought it in March I cannot return it. So I'm going to throw this piece of junk away. Stay away from it. Now I'm even doubting my AAA membership, maybe it's not worth it. I don't think it will be extended. Because, as I said, I bought this product because I saw the AAA logo on it.
