Instructions a bit unclear but setup self-explanatory. It's as easy as programming an alarm. The device is a good size and easy to attach to the edge of the aquarium. The feed container is large enough to last for several weeks (depending on the feed used). The dispenser lid is adjustable. Because of their size, floating granules in sticks hardly have any problems with even dosing. I think flakes or round grains are ideal. It's very quiet, the only noise it makes is the pellets inside. If I were using flakes I would assume I can't hear anything. I tested the dosage in the bowl several times to observe before adjusting it. I am happy with its overall performance. Different colors would be a good option. It would be nice to program more times for food delivery as I see it only has 4 time slots.
