I read many reviews before purchasing. Lots of people said it made their bed softer and less hard, I may have only seen a handful of people say it was thin and not as supportive or soft as they would like. I decided to get it and slept on it for two nights and am considering returning it. Although soft to the touch, it is thin and not supportive. I have a memory foam mattress that is quite firm (Zinus Green Tea from Amazon) and perhaps this type of topper does not have the same effect on this type of mattress. Perhaps it would be more effective with a hybrid or spring type. It was very disappointing to lie on it and practically not feel the difference. Two nights later, I woke up from a hard mattress with the same discomfort. If you're looking for one to soften memory foam, invest in another.
