Not at all suitable for removing carpet adhesive. I ended up using Goo Gone and another similar product I found here. More importantly, I've used it on hardwood floors, IT LEAVES DARK SMARKS on the wood that haven't even been sanded down. It works well for removing wallpaper, but definitely avoid this product when removing carpet adhesive from hardwood floors.
