I bought this product because I was upgrading from an old tower PC to a new gaming laptop. I needed to clone my hard drives to a new laptop without spending money on software and SATA adapter cables. This allowed me to easily clone all my hard drives without buying any software and it doesn't even require an internet connection and I found that I can use it to dock my two old hard drives and use them as external storage with my laptop to keep connected! All from a single source! The cloning speed was incredibly fast and the super-fast USB-C connection allows me to boot anything from external drives in seconds! It also has an auto power off feature to keep my drives from spinning when not in use, extending their overall lifespan. There is nothing I dislike about this dock, it can't beat the price and quality, love it! :)
