Since there are no extra slots for Switch cartridges on my regular Switch rubber grip, I thought it would be useful to have a pocket to store my cartridges when traveling. Since a lot of my games are digital, the number of cartridge slots in the case far outweighs the number of cartridges I have, so I put my extra SD cards in a couple of extra slots to leave extra room for future games. While this is not an advertised feature of the case, I also attempted to insert a DS cartridge into one of the cartridge slots, although it did not fit properly in the pocket and would warp the slot over time if left in it. Overall for intended use with Switch cartridges, SD cards and presumably Vita cartridges (although I don't have any to test) it certainly works and is more compact and lighter than carrying my cartridges around in their plastic cases.
