Mine didn't come with instructions but I watched a customer video and it's very easy to use. I found a diamond necklace (cheap but still beautiful) at a secret jewelry store and as I'm thinking of selling it I wanted to make sure the diamonds were real. I tested my own famous diamond jewelry and was even surprised with a small necklace that was supposed to be made of either zircon (which is a real stone) or cubic zirconia. Some of the tiny stones are registered as diamonds. It's from India so it might be common to mix them up(?). Somehow, famous diamonds have been verified as genuine. It's worth buying
