Apparently I received a used product - maybe someone sent it back or it was a test product. In short, the glue wasn't sticky and the battery was old. The controller says it needs a CR2025 but when I took the battery out there was a CR1220 in it. These are COMPLETELY different batteries. The battery inside was completely scratched and old - deceptive because it came with a plastic slider as if it was new and unused. I tried to see if the supposed battery would work but it doesn't even fit. Will return. (No instructions either - anyway, it seems simple enough - just to help me understand that I'm doing my best to try and get this working.)
