On a road trip, have you ever wondered if you left your front door unlocked or the stove on? It's such a helpless feeling to be 5 miles from home and wondering whether to turn back. Being an absent minded person is just one of the reasons I bought a Kami Home Camera. I've never had a home security camera and didn't know what to expect. Kami was extremely easy to connect with step-by-step instructions and a QR code that you scan with your phone. Once Kami was up and running, all I had to do was go through some settings in the Kami Home phone app combined with some settings on my phone so I could receive banner notifications and use my phone to view my home with Kami's 360 degree panoramic views to monitor and easily reproduce any sound or movement he picked up while I was at work. I live in a very quiet apartment building in a quiet part of town, and yet Cami picked up some of the faintest sounds coming from outside my apartment. One night I was at an event and I texted my girlfriend to make sure she got home safely. evening from work. She wasn't responding to my texts and I was worried, so I quickly scanned some of my cami's warnings from when she was supposed to get home and saw her walking around the apartment in her pajamas. I'm not exactly a techie so it might just be user error on my part, but there seems to be a slight lag in video capture. So it's not exactly live surveillance. But so far I've only used it over WiFi and it has an Ethernet option which I think will reduce playback latency. Overall, I'm glad I finally stepped into the 21st century and got my hands on a home security camera. In today's world, I value peace of mind very much.
