Review on FAFAFROG Rechargeable Smart Dog Bark Collar with Adjustable Sensitivity, Training Collar for Large Medium Small Dogs by Nicole Stone

As a previous customer, I received this new collar for review. I have a small dog (18lbs) and have used several different brands of correction collars. I will give a review based on my experience with this collar and other types of collars. For those who love zero waste packaging, this collar came in a very small package with minimal extra packaging. Very efficient. Fast delivery. It comes with a long collar so you can trim it to your desired size. It should be suitable for a very wide range of dogs. For us small dog owners, the device is not too big and fits comfortably under the chin. It fits my 12 lb dog with no problem. The collar has a unique magnetic charger. Connecting is very simple, but remember that you have to keep an eye on it. I have about 4 days between charges, but we could probably go longer. We were traveling so I wanted to be sure to charge it before I go. The collar was made of durable material and the device is well made and durable. The digital display and clear instructions make the collar easy to use and adjust. I've only worn the collar for two weeks and have had no problems. We live in an arid environment and my dogs can't swim so I can't comment on what happens if the collar gets wet. The device should be waterproof. There are 4 modes with 5 levels of sensitivity. The sensitivity range seems wider than other collars I've used. I can keep it on 2 or 3 and it works, on others I've had to keep it on the highest setting. The horn on this collar is LOUD. Other collars didn't catch his attention without using the vibrate mode, but this one did! I'm a big fan. I find the beep and vibration very effective. Other collars I've used beep on the first bark and then go to vibrate and then correct. I find that immediate correction is best for my dog so I am very happy with this collar. When he barks, he squeaks and vibrates. He hears it, feels it and stops. The only time I applied a shock correction was when he was testing the neighbors' patience with his wary remarks about the gardeners next door... He wasn't a fan and could tell we weren't joking. This collar is by far the best we've tried. Minuses only 2:1 - charging is not universal. If I lose it I'm out of luck unless they replace it for me. 2- It picks up some non-barking sounds at higher sensitivity levels. I'm still playing with this to find the best settings for my dog so he doesn't fire when he shouldn't. Overall, I highly recommend this collar. Works great with my barker that needs more than just a light horn to correct.
