Review on 🚿 Moen LR2250DW 9-Inch Designer Hand Grip for Home Care in Glacier White by Will Ridpath

When my wife first saw the picture of this grip (Moen LR2250DW) she thought it was one of those suction cup grips and thought it was too bulky. But I told her it says it's only 2 inches wide and at least 3 inches wide on the suction cups. So we decided to give it a try. When it arrived we found that it wasn't actually a suction cup grip, being just 2 inches wide and 9 inches long. The handle is almost 1 inch in diameter with a black rubberized insert on the inside of the handle that molds to your fingers; The handle sticks out about 2.5 inches. The grip surface is white plastic, but feels heavy enough that a steel frame could be housed inside. The image on the web is misleading as they attempt to show you the full view of the grip in one photo including the lower contoured black insert. But in most cases, when the handle is lifted, what you see is not the angled view of the handle shown in the image on the web, but its top view, just its length and width, which are very smooth (2 x 9 inches). . ).This handle is attached to the stud with four long screws. There is a plastic cover on each end of the handle that hides the screws. Some reviewers have reported difficulties removing the plastic cover. The trick is not trying to remove the cap as there is a slot on each end just big enough for a screwdriver. Instead, insert a screwdriver into the slot and slide the cover toward the center of the handle. I had a harder time putting the plastic cap back on after screwing the handle onto the studs. One lid required a well-placed hit with a plastic mallet to put the lid back on. Otherwise the clutch released with no problems and looks good. The look was important to us because we use it in a fairly public area of the house, namely on the sliding door of the living room to facilitate access to the sunny porch.
