I was looking for a hair tie that wouldn't pull or pull my hair too tight. I had hair loss and migraine problems and this was recommended to me. I have fewer migraines and less hair breakage! UPDATE 8/20/19: Still LOVE those hair ties. Now I've redeemed for myself and bought some for my mom and sister (who also have thin strands of hair but there are a lot of them). These work great!
