This is the best I've ever used. I made silk elastics and tied transparent laces. Silk hair ties are often too big, so I always pull them off. Sheer bands cause my hair to twist in such a way that the ends become frizzy and tousled - I have relatively straight hair. Too bad I didn't find them sooner. No bald hair, no pulling, just real softness that lasts.

These are my favorite hair ties. I have a shoulder injury and severe tension headaches. Sometimes I can't even use a hair tie and have to wear my hair down or in a loose bun with bobby pins because it hurts so much to have a ponytail. Not only do these hair scrunchies come in a variety of colors, but they are very comfortable to wear and hold my thick, chunky hair with ease. I wanted to like them and I love the material and the lack of knots. However, they are so tight that I cannot wear them on my wrist without cutting off circulation and leaving a deep dent almost immediately. And FYI, I have fairly small wrists, the small strap on my Fitbit Alta is loose and can slip on the second largest hole. I would basically return them, but they are non-returnable. They go in the trash.

Ties of good quality overall. Even though I had messy blonde hair I was afraid the light brown would be too dark, in fact it turned out to be too light. Not terrible, but not as expected. The biggest disappointment was that the packaging looked like it had been opened before. I got 10 light brown and 2 light colored ties instead of all 12 light brown ones. The material also looks a little different: the lighter ones are a bit denser and appear more durable.

I was looking for a hair tie that wouldn't pull or pull my hair too tight. I had hair loss and migraine problems and this was recommended to me. I have fewer migraines and less hair breakage! UPDATE 8/20/19: Still LOVE those hair ties. Now I've redeemed for myself and bought some for my mom and sister (who also have thin strands of hair but there are a lot of them). These work great!
