This is my fourth Janome machine and I expected it to perform excellently. This machine is a big disappointment! From the start this car had problems. The upper thread never held tension, which allowed the thread to squirm around the needle, leading to regular thread breaks and more than one needle breakage. From there it went to the bobbin, which keeps bouncing around in the body, knotting the bobbin thread on the back of the piece being sewn on, making a horrible grinding noise. I've replaced the case several times - to no avail. Even the cover has been changed. Not at all happy with this purchase.
