Review on πŸ”‹ Solar Hand Crank Emergency Weather Radio with AM/FM/NOAA, 3W LED Flashlight, Reading Light, SOS, and 5000mAh Power Bank for Cellphone Charging (RED) by Karen Parker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works better at night with a weak AM signal than during the day.

Not so loud during the day at volume up to 40 for weak signals, at half volume (20) medium signals are quite loud. Arrived half charged and I won't know until tonight if it can pick up weak signals better on AM when skywaves are available to boost reception. My guess turned out to be correct, it works much better at night with weak AM signals thanks to the boost from skywave effects. It's not that bad it took a while to fully charge it after it arrived try to get it at a discount but if you can't it's really worth it for the increased volume at night, if some DSP radios are more efficient. than during the day, when all clear-channel stations saturate the air. I'm pleasantly surprised with this device, enough to possibly buy another device. DSP radios that can produce an audible sound are few and far between. So if you find a good one, buy more before it sells out because the more flaws a radio has, the longer it stays on sale, the better. , (like this device) probably won't once someone discovers how much better it is than some of the poorly designed models selling for around $43 here at Revain.
