Unlike previous Sewell splitters, this one flashes when the displays are turned on and off! Disappointing.

We have been using Sewell products for a long time and have always been very happy with them. In general, the only real weakness of Sewell's HDMI splitters is that the output connectors are a little underpowered, causing longer runs to flicker from time to time, but this is a common problem with most, if not all, splitters . We had high hopes for this 4K splitter as it seems to be the best Full QHD splitter out there right now, but after using this splitter for less than an hour we discontinued it due to an apparent weakness. Each time you turn an individual display (TV) on or off, all other displays will flash for a few seconds before turning back on. This is independent of display type or performance as we tested over a dozen different displays. In addition, unlike previous Sewell products, this splitter cannot transmit a signal over certain directional cables, even at a lower resolution of 1080p, when all previous Sewell splitters work fine with these cables. Damn. Blink is an obvious non-starter. We hope Sewell understands this.
