Remove O-rings before use.
These valve covers are factory sealed with o-rings. On 2 different bikes I installed the valve covers and left. returned to his bikes a few hours later with flat tires. The O-rings got stuck in the valve and pressed against the valve, deflating the tires. I ended up removing the o-rings and they worked fine then.
