Bought this mount for a brand new car. So my dashboard was really clean and dust free when I put it back in place. However, that didn't stop the mount from sliding back and forth while driving on New Jersey's imperfect but perfectly normal freeways. Also the ring used to fix the GPS itself is very bad and my GPS was disabled and fell to the second floor. once when I got into very small road holes. Left it to his wife, who drives slowly and only on local roads. But I will never buy it for track use or long trips. This is very annoying and even dangerous.
