increase productivity

A friend told me about this monitor and I knew I had to have it. Luckily it was a lightning fast deal and I don't think I've ever been that fast other than when I got my daughter's PS5. I was attracted by the portability of this monitor. I love that it can be attached to a laptop and there are 3 sets of magnets for up to 3 laptops. Unfortunately, I have an XPS3, so the screen hangs over the laptop from all sides. So I won't connect it directly to my laptop, but use it as a travel notepad. Now I can be very productive around the house. I can lie on the floor and get my work done without having to sit at a desk. I use this without plugging my laptop into a power source and I haven't seen my laptop battery drain faster than usual. My new favorite spot is sitting on the floor while my toddler plays with me and does the work. The screen isn't as bright as my laptop, but that doesn't detract from its functionality. It's not that pixelated, but the picture quality hasn't dropped. The screen itself feels solid and the monitor case offers good protection for the monitor so it doesn't break. The monitor can be used in landscape or portrait mode for mirroring or extending. It was plug and play. I just plugged it in and Windows installed the drivers needed to make it work. I got up and ran in less than 30 seconds. Disconnecting and reconnecting is not a problem as it connects within a few seconds. However, moving the monitor to portrait mode is always a bit awkward as I don't want to break the hinge and you have to push both sides out completely before rotating. One side always seems to work fine, while the other needs a little tweaking. This little monitor has increased my productivity when working from home because when I need to move away from my desk I still have two monitors and no longer have to work from home. my laptop screen.

Pros
  • 2 pounds
Cons
  • The magnets on the back are small...the screen becomes too heavy, causing the laptop to open too wide.
