It seems the only way I can work well these days is to use it in a very specific way, which I'm still not sure about, but otherwise I'd share it with you. Anyway, all I know from my own experience is that the plastic cap is an important part of the development process. And I wouldn't skip the blow drying part. Again, I'm not a barber, this is just my own experience.
