This is EXACTLY the same carpet as Corsair. Don't be tempted to pay more money. Corsair only has one logo, that's all. This rug has 2 sides, I prefer the control side (durable). But the speed side is also very good depending on your preference. As for longevity, this baby is not going to die. I wash with soap and water and that's it. Let's get back to the games. Over time (say, in a year of hardcore games), the high-speed side will wear out, but for $10-12 just buy a new one. The mouse glides over it so well. If it was bigger I would use it for FPS like Overwatch. But unfortunately it is too small for this purpose. It works really well for MMOs. If you play FPS, get the XL One version. I have one too and it's very good.
