When people wrote reviews about how tiny they were, they weren't kidding! The blocks of color in the images appear larger. They are an adorable size. However, this is not really a problem. The bars are broken into squares so they come apart easily with little effort and the colors work really well. I'm still experimenting with how much to use to get the color I like, but I'm not fixated on getting a specific color, so I've liked all the colors that have come out so far. Using melted wax and a candle pictured, I used 7.06 fl oz of natural soy wax from a candle maker (also available on Amazon) heated to 180ยฐF. I added an aqua square and a green square to get that specific color. Get ready to stir, stir, stir. The colored wax states that its melting point is much higher than 180, which can compromise the integrity of the soy wax. Breaking the squares and mixing them up really helps them melt.
