Review on Trailer Valet TVXL25 XL Trailer Dolly with 2-5/16" Hitch Ball by Anthony Epps

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Moved a 30ft TT like a champ!

Wow! I just did a full 180 on a 5000lb 30ft TT (dry) on the spot (narrow road) and for that this is a solid 5 star product! Now a few words of caution: 1. You'd better know what you're doing with trailers and be safe, this is a dangerous product and not "automatic" by any means. You can slip here and there and you have to keep your cool to regain stability. Make sure you always have a way to stop a runaway trailer in case something goes wrong. This is best done on a level surface with good traction. The heavier the trailer, the more important it is.3. Working with a hand drill is a bit dangerous, more than once the drill has spun fast or jammed and I got a hit on my hand. On the other hand, the grip is a nightmare. I alternated these two methods when I needed speed (drill) or accuracy (hand crank).4. Stay focused! If the "brake" works, the drill will jerk violently and there is a real risk of injury. Solid 5 stars as it did what it said it would and I can't think of any other way to spin the TT on the spot. .

Pros
  • Patented ball mount for quick attachment and better maneuverability
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
